Born in Taylor, BC Just above the 56th parallel,
Lattitude 56 creates original clothing, hats, and drinkware inspired by northern life
In 2017 Julie and her business partner purchased a
promotional products company in Fort St John (SJA Promo). As customers kept
coming in with their own ideas and leaving satisfied with them having come to
life, Julie was just a wee bit jealous. LOL! One year into the business, Julie
and hubby, Mike were headed out on a “long miles-few days” kind of road trip.
She decided it was finally time to use this perfect opportunity to buckle
down. Julie started sketching her own
designs for an apparel and hard goods line.
She and Mike bounced ideas for a business name and researched online to
see if they had been used, etc. Suddenly
the sketch pad was filled with design concepts, name ideas, taglines, messaging
etc., bringing together all the little pieces that had previously been floating
around.
LATTITUDE 56 had taken root,
established 2018.
Founded in 2018, Lattitude 56 grew from a single fun design to a fill line of apparel, hats, and drinkware. With our original pieces, our focus is comfort, authenticity and the northern outdoors.
Our designs are all original and inspired by life in the north.
